Sustainability
Uvaclear
ink provide glass decorators and package designers a route
to meeting packaging sustainability goals. Uvaclear is a UV-curable
ink that reduces carbon footprint by reducing volatile emissions
and reducing energy usage.
Uvaclear bright colors are prepared using heavy metal-free
pigments, and comply with all environmental regulations.
Due to its organic nature, Uvaclear ink can be easily removed
during glass recycling without contamination. In addition,
Uvaclear does not add any additional waste to the waste stream
unlike other labels used on glass. |
|
Economic
Uvaclear ink has a lower applied cost than many other labeling
options due to low energy usage, improved line speeds, and
reduced ink usage.
Uvaclear ink requires minimal energy to cure. Ink cures by
ultraviolet light in 1/4 second, and does not require any
additional energy to cure.
Uvaclear ink can be applied at minimal film thickness to achieve
higher quality of image, thus producing more bottles per kilogram
in ink. |

Design
on Demand
Brand differentiation is key for today's packaging designers,
but often comes with added costs. Changing a design is as
easy as changing a screen.
Uvaclear is optimal for running short promotional runs and
commemorative designs.
Direct printing with Uvaclear eliminates the need to pre-order
or stock large numbers of brand labels. |
Durability
In combination with the proprietary glass pre-wash, Uvaclear
ink provides outstanding durability on glass. The patented
system reacts with the glass and the ink to provide superior
adhesion to the glass, allowing bottles to withstand all conditions
within a bottling line. |
Ease
of Use
Uvaclear is a one component ink that allows decorators ease
of use without additional mixing or adjustment.
Uvaclear ink is direct printed onto glass using high speed
printing machines (up to 200 bottles per minute). Container
can be handled immediately after discharged from the printing
machine. |
