Design
flexibility, package sustainability and reduced carbon
footprint were the principal drivers in the development
of Hartness’ proprietary ink called Uvaclear™.
Uvaclear provides an economic and ecological option
for glass package design. The revolutionary polymer
technology used in Uvaclear has been in development
for 10 years. Uvaclear ink is designed to be directly
printed onto glass using high speed screen printing
machines. The ink is cured instantly by ultraviolet
light. Bottles can be handled immediately after printing,
as there are no additional post cure steps required.
Uvaclear ink is available in a full range of colors
and gloss which offer substantial design flexibility
and enhanced shelf impact. Uvaclear provides exceptional
durability throughout the supply chain, as well as on
the shelf.
Hartness-Inks continues the Hartness commitment to innovation
by expanding our product line for the ever-changing
demands of the market.
